Dear Friends, Families, and Valued Patients,
As a member of your health care team, I’d like to take this time to let you know that your health is our number one priority. Even though we’re postponing elective procedures to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we’re still here for you if you’re experiencing a dental emergency.
If you’re experiencing an urgent dental issue, I can be reached at (724) 493-8991.
Should you need to visit us for emergency care, you can rest assured that we’re taking extra precautions at our office to protect your health and safety.
We’re committed to providing a safe environment at our office. Our team has always practiced strict universal sterilization precautions. But now, we’ve updated our protocol to incorporate new guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, ADA, and Pennsylvania Department of Health regarding COVID-19. We’re also using an advanced air cleaning system that’s designed to remove all viruses from the air and office environment.
We’ll continue to schedule only emergency care appointments until our status is changed by Governor Wolfe and we can once again see you for all your dental care needs.
We appreciate your confidence in us and we can’t wait to see you back in our office just as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Whether you need teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, or a full smile makeover, Dr. Kovacevic will help you uncover your dream smile.
I have been a patient of Dr. Del for over 25 years. I adore his chairside manner, his professionalism (he is a perfectionist too) and his commitment to pain free care!!!! I had a root canal that felt more like a teeth cleaning! His staff is the absolute best too!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!
As someone who is petrified of the dentist, Dr. Kovacevic and his staff not only fixed my teeth but have relived me of my fear of the dentist. I’ve had several dentists over the years and he is far by the best! I highly recommend going here!
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get my kids to brush their teeth?
Children may need a little guidance when flossing until their motor skills are developed enough to do it on their own. If you’re still having trouble motivating them to participate in oral hygiene routines, let Dr. Kovacevic know at your appointment, and he can offer some helpful advice.
What is fluoride and why is it important to dental health?
Since fluoride aids in protecting against cavities, we recommend using dental products that contain fluoride as part of your oral care. We also offer professional fluoride treatments that are highly concentrated and only take a few minutes to apply.
Why is it important to go to the dentist for regular checkups and cleanings?
Tooth decay typically doesn’t cause any pain until it becomes a cavity and reaches the nerve root. We can usually detect a cavity three to four years before you become symptomatic. This can mean the difference between having to get a filling or root canal therapy. With regular checkups and cleanings, we can keep your smile looking and feeling its best.
Why are x-rays important at the dentist?
- Decay that exists between teeth or below restorations
- Infections in the bone or gums
- Abscesses or cysts
- Developmental abnormalities
- Some types of tumors
When we examine your oral health on a regular basis, we’re able to detect any issues before they become problematic. Scheduling regular checkups and professional cleanings at our Greensburg office will help ensure your mouth is in the best of health.
