However, Dr. Kovacevic used novocaine when necessary. He also was very polite and allowed me to take breaks whenever I needed them. Overall, he made it as comfortable as possible.”
What was the most challenging part of the treatment?
Even with every precaution taken to maximize comfort, there is still bound to be some challenges inherent in an 18-month dental process. Mardi explains why the noise was the most tedious part of the process and one that can’t be avoided in many dental procedures.
“Although I wouldn’t describe any of it as painful, some parts of the process were uncomfortable, mostly because of the grinding noise. To prepare for some of the treatments, he had to grind my teeth down, so that noise was the most challenging aspect of the whole thing.”
Would you say your appearance has improved because of this reconstructive procedure?
“Yes, it’s improved 100%!”

“Yes. If they want it bad enough, yes. It’s important to understand that it’s not an immediate fix – this was a lot of dental appointments and time. However, Dr. Kovacevic was really accommodating and kept me comfortable in every part of the process.”
